curt

When you think of italian sticker and posters scene, the first city that comes to your mind is surely Milan.
But there’s much more: this time we’re showing you this nice crew from Rome. The stick heads!

They have a well drawn website, too: here.
There are a lot of members in the group, but the one I prefer are Curt and Solid, which work you can see in these images.

Ok, it’s the well-known black and white sticker style, that you can see everywhere: yet I like their style! Take a look at the website!

Finders Keepers Milano

fk flyer

Finders Keepers is a dope series of events: anyone can bring an artwork, and everyone can take one off, as well! The first 5 FKC took place in cities like London and Barcelona, and the next one will be in Milan!
So, come with your canvases and some beer. You should take your camera too: I hope that we’ll be too drunk to make a report.

ARTISTS RULES

These events are open to anyone who makes art in the street, from
full-on graffiti bombers to the occasional sticker artist or chalk
doodler. If you work in the street you’re invited to contribute.

All work must be made on trash, or other items found in the street.
That means NO CANVASES, thankyou.

fk barcelona 2
Finders Keepers Event, Barcelona

All work must be painted, drawn, scrawled, scribbled or scratched -
putting a printed sticker on a piece of trash does not make it
eligible.

We ask that all artists make 5 pieces, but all contributions are
welcome.

All work will be given away free at the end of the evening.

NONE OF THE WORK IS FOR SALE!!

We ask that artists do not take the work themselves. If you want a
piece by a certain artist, talk to them, make friends, and maybe you
can do a trade. We ask this as we want as much art to make it’s way,
free of charge, into the homes of the general public, rather than it
going to the homes of artists – why preach to the converted? We all
make work in the street for the everyday man or woman to enjoy, and
that’s the idea with the Street Gallery too.

Feel like making your mark on the local area? Please think before you
pull out the spray paint. Though these events are about reclaiming an
area for ourselves for an evening and having a party, fucking shit up
with drunk tags make’s the general public hate us, and jeopardises
future events. So please switch on your brain, and consider others. Do
the vandalism in your own time, not at our parties.

GENERAL PUBLIC RULES

Finders Keepers Street Galleries are open to everyone, and for all to enjoy.

All the art works are free to take at the end of the party, but you
MUST WAIT until the Finders Keepers Crew declare the work free to take.
Anyone found removing artworks before this time will be chased out of town.

Please do not take more than one artwork each. Greed is not cool.
ONE PIECE EACH!

All the artists exhibiting are giving their work, and their time, for
free. These events do not raise money, and do not carry sponsorship,
so why not bring some beer for the artists, we know they’ll appreciate it.

Have fun, make friends, and be nice.

Wany

Wany is a well-known italian writer, one of my favourites since a long time.
He’s one of the few italians featured on Graffiti.org, and still painting.
His new exhibition will open in Rome next month. Stay tuned!
(In the meanwhile, we can show you some of his graphics.)
